Young Toddlers Program 1-2 years

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem and curiosity, our early foundations Toddler Care Programme helps them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique early childhood curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through hands-on experiences. Each day is filled with fun activities that excite and help toddlers progress in a setting which affords them the comfort and confidence to grow and develop both cognitively and socially. As two-year-olds begin to exert their independence, our programme opens their eyes to a world of learning, sharing and exploring. Our balanced approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art and movement and adheres to the underlying principles of early education.

Environment

The purpose of our education is to promote motor and sensory development. The environment is therefore arranged in such a way that the child can benefit from this. The child selects what it needs within that environment and thus develops various functions. It is the task of the pedagogical professional to give the child the opportunity to gain many impressions and experiences in the environment. She prepares the environment in such a way that the child has all the possibilities to do so. In our classroom we provide the young toddler with a variety of materials and activities to engage in, all by themselves.) We guide children to independence, from a young age. We start with simple tasks, such a taking of socks, putting on their jacket, drink from a cup and practice to butter their bread.

Professionals

Beyond daycare, our curriculum for toddlers is designed to adapt to each individual child’s age and stage. Experienced pedagogical professionals promote emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development in a fun, engaging environment.
