No, you are not allowed to bring your child to daycare. In case the symptoms get worse, please get in touch with your GP via telephone. We kindly ask you to take the necessary precautions with good care.

What if my child is only having a runny nose?

We follow the RIVM decision tree. Despite the fact that children with a runny nose are allowed to go to Villa Bloom we would appreciate if you do not bring your child with a runny nose to Villa Bloom in this situation. We ask you this because we try to prevent our professionals from getting cold and not being able to come to work. Stable faces are important for the stability in the group but could be a challenge if many of our professionals have to be tested on covid-19 because they are showing symptoms. In the upcoming period we will be more flexible in regards to the exchange credit if you report your child sick, please find in the question below.

How does Villa Bloom deal with contact moments such as pick up & drop off?

We ask that you keep the drop-off and pick-up times short and that they are done by a maximum of one adult. If possible, without other children. To make sure the drop-off and pick-up times run smoothly and safely, we will work with walking routes (not applicable for location Thomsonlaan, at this location parents don’t enter the location. Pick-up and drop off takes place at the entrance). We also kindly ask you to always wear a face mask during pick up & drop off.

What happens if a child or professional tested positive with Covid-19?

Villa Bloom will contact our contactperson from the GGD and will inform parents and professionals about the step-by-step guidelines from the GGD.

Please note that, in line with the privacy regulations, no data of the infected person will be provided to third parties. Reference is made in all communications to ‘a parent’, ‘a child’ or ‘a member of staff’.

What are the rules if a family/household member tests positive for Covid-19?

The rest of the family is quarantined and immediately tested. Even if they have no complaints. The quarantine last 10 days. That is calculated from the moment that they have been close to the person with corona for the last time. They can have themselves tested again after 5 days. If this test is negative, they can be taken out of quarantine.

Despite the restrictions of the current circumstances, we find it important to remain in communication with you. Therefore we encourage you to contact us if you have any questions or information to share via phone or e-mail. We will keep you updated on a monthly basis via our newsletters.
