    Substitute Nursery Teacher (18 – 36 hours per week)

    Your profile

    As we are an international childcare centre, fluent verbal English or Dutch is essential. Candidates will have the following experience, skills and attributes.

    • A qualification in childcare and/or a qualification as a primary school teacher
    • Previous experience in professional childcare
    • International background
    • Eligible to work in the Netherlands
    • Capable of providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment
    • Capable of teaching young children individually, in small groups and in a classroom environment
    • Willing to keep up to date with curriculum initiatives and develop classroom practice and teaching strategies as appropriate
    • Motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about childcare
    • Excellent communication skills with children, staff and parents
    • Mastery of multiple languages would be an advantage
    • Additional talents, such as yoga, dance, cooking and performing outdoor activities (etc.) with young children, would also be beneficial
