To expand our team of genuinely committed childcare professionals at our location in Loosduinen (The Hague) and Wassenaar, we are looking for a qualified
Teachers for our After School Care Programme (min. 16 hours – max. 36 hours per week)
As we are an international childcare centre, fluent verbal and written English is essential. Candidates will have the following experience, skills and attributes.
• A qualification in childcare and/or a qualification as a primary school teacher • Previous experience in professional childcare/after school care • International background • Eligible to work in the Netherlands • Capable of providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment • Capable of teaching young children individually, in small groups and in a classroom environment • Willing to keep up to date with curriculum initiatives and develop classroom practice and teaching strategies as appropriate • Motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about childcare • Excellent communication skills with children, staff and parents • Mastery of multiple languages would be an advantage • Additional talents, such as yoga, dance, cooking and performing outdoor activities (etc.) with young children, would also be beneficial
• Responsible for the daily care of children between ages 4-12 • Accompany children both individually and in (small) groups with everyday common activities • Organise activities, both indoor and outdoor • Keep spaces, inventory and materials clean, so children can be taken care of in a safe and secure environment
